A tiny, inefficient kitchen, and an oversized, unfurnishable living room prompted this project to borrow and repurpose interior spaces, while adding a few feet to the rear of the house to engage the garden. In keeping with the Craftsman/Tudor combination style, spaces were created, and finishes were updated to reflect the client’s appreciation of natural hues and informal entertaining. A 1960’s small, master bath and closet were reconfigured and transformed into a Transitional, elegant Hers and His En Suite Dressing. Using every square inch, and cabinetry in lieu of walls, this bath-dressing suite provides luxurious intimacy and efficient functionality in a neutral style that both soothes and inspires.Project Team: Nina Briggs, Michelle Chiang, and Pelin Hepcilingirler-Gledhill
